Craws & Grubs

Realistic soft plastics that mimic crawfish and bottom-dwelling prey. Craws and grubs trigger strikes from bass feeding on the bottom. Rig them on jigs, Texas rigs, Carolina rigs, or fish them solo — the lifelike action and profile get bites when other baits fail.

Why Craws and Grubs Work

Bass feed heavily on crawfish — they're a primary food source in most waters. Craws mimic the defensive posture and movement of real crawfish. Grubs create subtle tail action that looks like swimming prey. Both sink naturally and work in tight spaces where bass hide.

Craw Baits

Realistic crawfish imitations with claws that flare and flutter. Rig them on jigs as trailers, Texas-rig them for flipping, or use them on Carolina rigs for dragging bottom. The claws create action on the fall and when hopped along the bottom. Natural colors work in clear water, bold colors work in stained water.

Best for jig trailers, Texas rigs, and Carolina rigs. Fish them slow along the bottom, hop them through rocks, or drag them across ledges. When bass are feeding on crawfish, nothing beats a realistic craw.

Grub Baits

Simple soft plastics with curly tails that create swimming action. Rig them on jig heads for swimming retrieves, use them as jig trailers, or Texas-rig them for finesse presentations. The tail creates vibration and movement that triggers strikes from bass, panfish, and trout.

Versatile for multiple species and techniques. Swim them over grass, drag them on the bottom, or fish them under docks. Grubs catch everything from bass to crappie to walleye.

How to Fish Craws and Grubs

Slow presentations work best. Hop them along the bottom, drag them through rocks, or let them sit still and twitch occasionally. Bass often hit on the fall or when the bait is sitting still. Feel for weight or line movement — bites can be subtle.
