Weights & Sinkers

Lead and tungsten weights for every rig and technique. Bullet weights for Texas rigs, drop shot weights for finesse, split shot for subtle presentations, and bank sinkers for bottom fishing. The right weight gets your bait to the right depth and keeps it there.

Why Weights Matter

Weight controls depth, casting distance, and how your bait moves. Too light and you can't reach fish. Too heavy and the presentation looks unnatural. The right weight for the technique and conditions makes the difference between bites and blank days.

Types of Weights

Bullet Weights: Cone-shaped weights for Texas rigs and Carolina rigs. Slide through cover without snagging. Available in lead and tungsten.

Drop Shot Weights: Cylindrical or teardrop weights with a clip for drop shot rigs. Keep the bait suspended off the bottom.

Split Shot: Pinch-on weights for adding subtle weight to finesse presentations. Easy to adjust and remove.

Bank Sinkers: Teardrop-shaped weights for bottom fishing. Hold bait on the bottom in current or wind.

Worm Weights: Bullet weights specifically for soft plastic rigging. Pegged or sliding depending on technique.

Lead vs. Tungsten

Lead is affordable and works well for most applications. Tungsten is denser, smaller for the same weight, and more sensitive. Tungsten lets you feel bottom better and use smaller profiles. Lead works fine — tungsten is an upgrade when you want maximum sensitivity.

The D&F Way

We keep things simple, honest, and respectful of the water. If it's in our store, it's something we'd fish ourselves.

Nothing extra, nothing wasted. Just solid gear for good days on the lake.
